Ioana Niculeasa has 25 years of experience in the legal profession and is Head of NNDKP's Real Estate and Construction practice. Throughout her career, Ioana has assisted investment funds, corporate investors and financial institutions in landmark projects developed in the Romanian and SEE real estate markets. Her expertise covers all types of projects, from office buildings and shopping centres, residential, logistics, and industrial real estate projects to public-private real estate partnerships and agricultural investments.
Ioana has a strong track record in high value real estate transactions. She has advised clients on complex sales and acquisitions, providing legal support across the full investments’ lifecycle: structuring, due diligence, negotiation, development and closing. Additionally, Ioana advises clients on permitting matters, lease agreements and construction contracts governed by domestic legislation as well as FIDIC or FIDIC-based agreements.

Ioana Niculeasa joined NNDKP in 2005 and was appointed Partner in 2009.

Ioana Niculeasa is a fluent English and French speaker and has a good command of Spanish.

Ioana Niculeasa is a member of the Bucharest Bar and is also a member of the Real Estate groups within Lex Mundi and World Services Group.

Ioana Niculeasa graduated from the University of Bucharest Law School and the College Juridique d’Etudes Europeennes (collaboration between the University of Bucharest and the University of Pantheon I Sorbonne) in 1999.
