Position
Ruxandra Bologa co-heads NNDKP’s Corporate/M&A and Energy and Natural Resources practices. Over the course of a career spanning 23 years, Ruxandra has coordinated landmark local and cross-border M&A projects and transactions that have shaped the Romanian business landscape, acting for the full range of investor types, including private equity, infrastructure funds, entrepreneurs, etc. She also advises clients across industry sectors on joint ventures, restructuring and outsourcing projects, as well as on complex regulatory and contractual matters.
She has extensive experience in the energy and natural resources sector, having coordinated oil & gas projects, renewables and green energy projects, projects related to transportation, distribution, supply & trading of natural gas and electricity, as well as mining projects and carbon capture and storage projects. She is also involved in energy efficiency projects and in all matters related to the transition to clean energy and decarbonization. Ruxandra has contributed to the creation of the legal framework related to the development of offshore gas projects and has advised the operator developing the first Romanian deep offshore gas project.
Her expertise also includes advising clients on various matters in the pharmaceuticals, consumer protection and gaming areas.
Career
Ruxandra Bologa first joined NNDKP in 2004, after which she acted as an in-house counsel for the biggest integrated energy company in South-East Europe. She was appointed Partner in 2008, when she rejoined the firm.
Languages
Ruxandra Bologa is fluent in English and a good speaker of French and Spanish.

Ruxandra Bologa is a member of the Bucharest Bar, as well as of the Energy Law Group.
Education
Ruxandra Bologa graduated from the University of Bucharest Law School in 2001 and successfully participated to two seminars offered at Dundee, UK, on energy law.
