Gabriela Cacerea has over 23 years of experience in the legal profession and is Co-head of the Corporate/M&A and Energy and Natural Resources practices. Also, she co-leads the Insurance and Private Pensions, Consumer Protection, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare, and Gaming teams.
Gabriela brings a wealth of experience to her practice, having played a key role in numerous domestic and cross-border M&A transactions as well as regulatory projects. Her work spans joint ventures, privatizations, IPOs, secondary offerings, and major restructuring projects, reflecting her ability to navigate complex and high-stakes corporate matters.
Her practice covers a broad range of industries, with particular expertise in the energy, insurance, consumer goods, pharmaceutical and healthcare and gaming sectors. She advises clients on strategic investments, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters, providing tailored solutions to meet each industry’s legal and commercial requirements.
In the energy sector, Gabriela has coordinated projects across all stages of development and operation, as well as regulatory assessments, including in conventional electricity and natural gas downstream initiatives, renewable energy, energy efficiency projects and new technologies, and transactions supporting the transition to clean energy and decarbonization.
