Shibolet & Co.
Diversity
Commitment to the community is a central pillar within the overall Shibolet philosophy, comprising not only our longstanding support for social and environmental causes but also our professional and ethical obligations to clients and staff alike.
We view pro bono services as integral to the work of any modern law firm, and are proud to advise a number of noteworthy non-profit organizations:
- Shiur Acher – brings leading professionals (such as lawyers, accountants, doctors, and engineers) into public schools to serve as valuable role models for underprivileged children. Shibolet's attorneys generously contribute their time and resources to this volunteer program and partner Gadi Ouzan serves as its pro bono legal counsel.
- Raanana Symphinete Orchestra – a unique orchestra was founded in 1991 to bring together talented musicians from the former Soviet Union, and has since risen to become a huge international success. Shibolet partner Yaacov Yisraeli was instrumental in the orchestra's formation and continues to be actively involved as its chairman.
- Safe@Home – a joint community for technology professionals and security/government agencies willing to look at the problem with advanced "out of the box" with the vision of "zero women killed per year".
- Ramat Hadassah Youth Village and Kiryat Yearim –provide schooling, cultural activities, and emotional support to at-risk children. In addition to Shibolet's pro bono legal services, founding partner Richard M. Roberts also serves as secretary of the Kiryat Yearim and Ramat Hadassah board of directors.
- House of Wheels – The association's programs serve over 500 children and adults with impaired mobility.
- Gvahim –fostering business and career success for new immigrants.
- Keren Shemesh – aims to assist and support talented young Israeli entrepreneurs establishing their first business.
- The Spirit of Israel – promotes social activism, reduces socioeconomic gaps, and provides vital solutions for at-risk children.
