Pro Bono

Goldfarb Gross Seligman places a strong emphasis on its pro bono work, viewing it as its social mission. We believe that providing legal services to organizations and individuals who cannot afford quality professional legal counsel while advocating just causes is our moral obligation, and view it as an integral part of the firm's legacy and one of its guiding principles.

The pro bono work at our firm extends to various activities and legal fields, and is dedicated to improving our community and advancing important social issues. The pro bono services are provided to a diverse variety of populations and entities, and offer comprehensive solutions for an array of issues, while focusing on fundamental principles, such as human rights and social justice.

With thousands of pro bono work hours every year, our pro bono clients receive the highest quality service, identical to the one provided to the firm's clients, which together with the professionalism and legal excellence of the firm's attorneys, granted the firm its prestigious reputation.

As part of our pro bono work, the firm is in continuous contact with entities which specialize in human rights and social justice issues.

Community

The firm upholds a long-standing tradition of community service which is performed through monetary donations and volunteer work with economically disadvantaged populations. The firm's legal teams - interns, attorneys and partners alike, reach out to the community, sharing their expertise with students of all ages and backgrounds, laying the groundwork for the growth of the next generation of extraordinary lawyers. Several classes benefit from this continuous educational activity every year, as part of the legal aid program of the 'Movement against Poverty' and 'A Different Lesson' (both Israeli nonprofit organizations). The pinnacle of these classes is a mock trial preformed before the students' parents and teachers.

In addition, for the past several years the firm has taken part in the 'Good Deeds Day' in Israel, in which our entire staff - legal and administrative alike, participate in an array of volunteer activities benefiting the community.

Diversity

As an equal opportunity employer, our statement is clear: equality for all, regardless of gender, race, belief or tendency. The creation of a workplace free of discrimination and harassment is a cornerstone of our conduct, and many of the key positions within our firm are filled by highly capable women, as well as people of diverse backgrounds and outlooks. The unique ideas and perspectives each person brings to the firm, the different insights and experiences, are all part of what makes Goldfarb Gross Seligman a top tier law firm.
