In his career as a corporate lawyer, Adv. Amir Raz has not only counseled technology companies on a broad range of transactional matters, including venture capital financings, domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, but also evolved into a trusted strategic legal advisor. In recent years, Amir has taken on a more active role in guiding clients through complex decision-making processes, providing counsel that integrates legal expertise with broader business and industry insights.

Amir’s practice now encompasses more than just transactional work; he has become a key partner to clients seeking strategic guidance on navigating the evolving legal landscape of cutting-edge industries. His clients range from emerging companies developing disruptive technologies through publicly traded corporations, across sectors such as cyber security, artificial intelligence, fintech, cloud computing, quantum computing, big data, semiconductors, digital media, SaaS, and life sciences.

Amir continues to counsel various venture capital and private equity funds, as well as strategic investors, in their investments and acquisitions of Israeli and Israeli-related companies. His comprehensive understanding of market trends and legal developments has allowed him to offer a broader scope of strategic counsel, addressing not just legal concerns, but also how to position companies for growth and competitive advantage.

In addition to transactional expertise, Amir has expanded his advisory work with fund managers and limited partners in forming and managing various investment vehicles, including venture capital, private equity and hedge funds, while offering strategic insight into market dynamics and fund operations.

Amir’s early career included practicing at the M&A and Private Equity Group of Sidley Austin LLP in New York.
