Position

Adv. Ravid is Head of the Labor and Corporate Immigration Department.

Adv. Ravid is one of Israel’s most respected attorneys in the Labor Law field. His  practice focuses on the interplay between Israeli labor and corporate laws, particularly with regard to corporate transactions. In this regard, Adv. Ravid’s comprehensive legal support of clients includes drafting agreements and providing legal opinions relating to the full cycle of employer-employee relations: from the hiring and compensation of employees, to organizational restructuring and corporate downsizing; and from changes in employment terms and conditions, to employee dismissal. Adv. Ravid also advises clients on the interaction between labor law and employee relocation.

Adv. Ravid provides guidance, both tactical and strategic, to corporate clients in addressing complex issues in the intersection between labor and corporate laws, such as those arising from merger and acquisition transactions, public offerings, and corporate due diligence. Adv. Ravid actively represents clients in Israel’s civil courts, labor tribunals, and arbitration proceedings; he also appears before government agencies on behalf of clients on matters of labor relations.

As a labor law focal point for the firm’s wide-ranging clientele, Adv. Ravid provides services to leading high-tech firms, as well as companies in traditional business sectors and private individuals.

Adv. Ravid provides workshops and training to clients on a variety of subjects such as sexual harassment, employee recruitment, and more. He also lectures on emerging labor law topics at a wide variety of academic and professional forums, including the Israel Bar Association and the Legal Advisers Forum. Adv. Ravid authored the chapter on Israeli Labor Law for the American Bar Association (ABA), and regularly publishes articles in the professional media.

Adv. Ravid is a member of the International Labor Law Association, and of the Israel Bar Association’s Labor Law Forum. In addition, Adv. Ravid volunteers at “HaLev,” a non-profit organization for the war on poverty in Israel.
