Career

Keren is a partner in the firm’s Banking and Finance Department, specialising in banking and financial regulatory work.

Keren provides ongoing legal and regulatory advice to banks, investment advisors, broker-dealers, hedge funds and other financial institutions, and both Israeli and non-Israeli institutions operating or considering operating in Israel, including negotiating with the Bank of Israel.

In addition, Keren’s practice involves advising on derivatives, structured products and other financial-instrument transactional work, including negotiation of ISDA agreements and custody and brokerage agreements.

Keren joined Herzog Fox & Neeman following eight years as senior legal counsel at Israel Discount Bank (IDB), one of Israel’s leading banks.  In her role at IDB, Keren advised IDB’s corporate and financial markets divisions, specialising in derivatives, structured products and other financial instruments. Keren was also a member of the IDB teams heading the implementation of FATCA, EMIR, MiFID II and Dodd Frank reform.

Keren also has extensive transactional experience with leading global banks and financial institutions, having  previously worked in the Financial Institutions and Capital Markets Department of Cadwalader LLP in New York for 10 years.
