Sayenko Kharenko has defended the interests of Ukrainian scientists-inventors

Sayenko Kharenko’s team defended the interests of the scientists-authors of the crucial invention for the country given the modern conditions in the courts of first instance and appeal. As a result, Sayenko Kharenko’s attorneys-at-law defended the rights of Ukrainian inventors to receive royalties for the use of the intellectual property rights belonging to them. On 21 December 2020, the court of appeal put an end to the case, leaving the decision of the court of first instance in favor of Ukrainian inventors unchanged. Partner Yaroslav Ognevyuk comments on the successful completion of the project: “Our team has many similar successful projects in its portfolio, but I am especially happy to have won this case. Given the fact that it is hardly possible to overestimate the importance of our clients’ invention since this is about saving a large number of human lives.” Associate and attorney-at-law Tetiana Yushchenko worked on the project with the strategic support of partner and attorney-at-law Yaroslav Ognevyuk.
