Dmytro Marchukov Makes Equity Partner at INTEGRITES
Dmytro Marchukov, co-head of Cross-Border Litigation and co-head of Private Client practices, receives promotion to Senior (Equity) Partner effective as from January 2024. He makes the sixth equity partner of the firm, and his promotion becomes the second equity partner appointment during Russian large-scale war against Ukraine.
Dmytro joined INTEGRITES as partner in 2018. Since then, he has consistently excelled in serving clients and strengthening the reputation and expertise of his team and the firm with the diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, large-scale matters and growing professional recognition.
Dmytro Marchukov’s practice encompasses complex disputes, transnational insolvency and receivership, asset tracing and recovery, fraud investigation, commercial and investment arbitration under the major institutional and ad hoc rules, as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial and arbitral awards. He is also one of the most active Ukrainian law experts having acted in this capacity within civil and criminal proceedings in the US, the UK, British Virgin Islands, Monaco, Cyprus and Switzerland, as well as in the arbitration proceedings under the ICSID rules.
Dmytro Marchukov has a master’s degree in international commercial arbitration law from the Stockholm University (Sweden) and a master’s degree in international law from the Institute of International Relations of the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv (Ukraine).
Dmytro Marchukov’s selected professional achievements include his consistent recognition from Chambers Europe (2012-2023) and Chambers Global (2014-2023), The Legal500 (2014-2023), and Who’s Who Legal (Global Elite Thought Leader in Asset Recovery, Thought Leader in Commercial Litigation and Recommended in Commercial Mediation).
Managing Partner, Dr. Oleksiy Feliv: “Dmytro’s promotion to an equity partner becomes the second one of the kind in our firm in the last two years, following the promotion of Illya Tkachuk. This presents a unique case for the Ukrainian market: it once again proves the success of the performance-based partnership track formula we’ve agreed on and stuck to for almost a decade. It also recognizes Dmytro’s dedication to client service, his passion for law, and impact he has on the firm and its clients. His outstanding expertise coupled with a great sense of humour and intelligence have earned him the respect and gratitude of his network. We are happy to have Dmytro on board and wish him all the best in his new role.”
Senior Partner, Dmytro Marchukov: “I feel extremely grateful to the other equity partners of the firm for acknowledging my accomplishments and those of our Cross-Border Litigation team, which we manage jointly with Serhii Uvarov. This achievement, together with the promotion of Illya Tkachuk in 2022, demonstrates that the firm’s senior level KPIs do work even in the challenging times, in which we now live. And while equity partner promotions have historically been quite rare for the Ukrainian market, equity partnership at INTEGRITES has remained open even during the large-scale war. Becoming an EP is the journey which one cannot complete alone. I, therefore, gladly thank my fellow partners, our team, administrative staff and very many others in the firm for helping me on the way, which we shall keep going together.”
