Career

Jan Lasák specializes in company law, M&A, contract law and corporate restructuring.

Besides practical legal experience, Jan Lasák is also active in the academic sphere. He works as an assistant professor at the Department of Commercial Law of the Faculty of Law at the Masaryk university and at the Department of Private Law and the Civil Procedure of the Faculty of Law of the Palacký University in Olomouc, where he teaches corporate law (including the transformation of business corporations). Apart from the academic sphere, Jan also lectures to the professional public (notaries or judges).

Whether in co-writing with Professor Jan Dědič or independently, he regularly publishes in the professional press on the topics of business companies and corporate law. He is co-author of commentary on the New Civil Code (C.H. Beck) and leading author of commentary on the Business Corporation Act (Wolters Kluwer).

Jan has been recently advising ČEZ, J&T Group, Euromedia Group, Komerční banka, Skanska or ŠKODA Auto.
