Ivo Průša is counsel at Kocián Šolc Balaštík, with a focus on cross-sector financing, capital markets, securities law, obligation law, and intergenerational wealth transfers. His extensive expertise in structuring complex financial transactions makes him a trusted advisor to leading Czech and international banks, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.

He has advised Československá obchodní banka and Česká spořitelna on the financing of the Prague Transport Company up to CZK 8 billion (approx. EUR 320 million), and represented J&T Banka in a high-profile transaction involving a joint venture and partial sale of a hotel portfolio valued at EUR 347 million. Ivo also advised O2 Czech Republic on club financing worth CZK 9.24 billion (approx. EUR 370 million), and Czechoslovak Commercial Bank on the acquisition financing of the BLOCK Group.

His work for Mattoni 1873 included refinancing and operational financing exceeding EUR 100 million, and he also advised a private client on the financing of a private jet involving multiple international financial institutions, including the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

Ivo is recognised as a “Rising Star” in banking and finance by IFLR1000, reflecting his growing reputation and achievements in the field.

He holds law degrees from Charles University in Prague (Ph.D.) and Masaryk University in Brno (Mgr.), as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from Masaryk University. He has been a member of the Czech Bar Association since 2011.
