As well as working closely together with HEUSSEN B.V. in Amsterdam we cooperate with partners both in Germany and abroad. HEUSSEN takes an international, multi-disciplinary approach and works closely together with tax advisers, auditors and corporate finance consultants. What characterises us?
The notaries, five of whom are based in Frankfurt am Main and one in the Berlin office, cover the entire spectrum of notarial activities, specialising in real estate, corporate and inheritance law.
The notaries
- have many years of experience in complex notarisations, the supervision of cross-border notarial transactions and the handling of contracts with foreign connections.
- are experienced abroad and have extensive language skills in English, French, Italian and Swedish, for example.
- have nationwide electronic access to commercial registers and land registers and are familiar with foreign registers, such as the British, French, Italian, Luxembourg, Dutch, Swedish, Swiss and Hong Kong commercial registers.
- are supported by an experienced team of employees in the preparation, notarisation and execution of contracts.
Your main areas of expertise
Real estate law
Notarisation of real estate transactions (portfolios of residential and/or commercial properties), wind farms, division of land in accordance with the German Condominium Act, property development transactions, creation and transfer of property-like rights such as heritable building rights, easements for wind turbines, rights of way or pipeline rights or residential rights.
Company law
Company formations of all forms including stock corporations, foundations and associations, corporate transformations, notarisation of resolutions, assignment of shares, measures in accordance with the German Transformation Act (mergers, including cross-border mergers, change of legal form), approval resolutions for company agreements, amendments to articles of association, appointment and dismissal of managing directors, board members and authorised signatories, liquidations and the entire execution under register law.
Inheritance law
Wills, inheritance contracts, anticipated succession, corporate succession, implementation of testamentary dispositions such as fulfilment of legacies or settlement of a community of heirs.
