Position

Ashlee is Head of Immigration and Partner with many years’ experience in all aspects of Immigration law. Her experience includes Corporate Immigration acting for employers and education providers. She also has widespread experience in dealing with appeals before the First Tier and Upper Tier Immigration Tribunals, Judicial Reviews, Court of Appeal applications and European Court of Human Rights applications. Ashlee often deals with complex immigration matters for clients which include advice on the Points Based system, family applications, spouse/unmarried partner/civil partner visa applications, dependent relative visa applications, British citizenship, Asylum and Human Rights applications. When representing asylum clients she practices mainly with unaccompanied asylum seeking children, domestic abuse cases/ trafficking cases and accepts referrals from various Local Authorities.

Career

Ashlee has worked for Fisher Jones Greenwood since 2002. She left and worked at another local firm for a two year period but returned to Fisher Jones Greenwood in 2012, where she has been ever since. She is now a Partner and Head of Immigration and has always specialised in all aspects of Immigration Law.

Memberships

Ashlee Campbell is an Accredited Level 2 Senior Caseworker and Accredited Supervisor and has assisted countless asylum applicants over the years, particularly taking referrals from social services for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. She is the supervisor for the legal aid contract that Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP has been awarded by the Legal Aid Agency in order to undertake legally aided work in Asylum matters. Our legal aid contract also extends to assisting victims of domestic violence and victims of human trafficking and modern-day slavery, in their immigration applications.

Ashlee also has a teaching qualification and can provide in-house training and presentations to employers on UK Visas and Immigration compliance and illegal working.

Education

Originally from South Africa, Ashlee studied law at the University of the Witwatersrand where she obtained her BA and then LLB qualifications. Ashlee is also an Accredited Level 2 Senior Caseworker and Accredited Supervisor.
