Litigation

Hussain Eisa Al Shiri is a partner and the Co- Head of Litigation in Al Tamimi & Company.

His practice focuses on resolving commercial disputes though litigation and has ample experience with handling disputes on contractual law, intellectual property, maritime, transport, insurance, banking trademark law and criminal law. Hussain has extensive experience and knowledge of the court procedures and government departments in the UAE.

He has expertise in the areas of legislation development and has advised in drafting significant number of laws and subsidiary legislations in the UAE.

Hussain has rights of audience before the UAE courts.

He studied law at the Arabian Beirut University in Egypt. While studying for his LLB, Hussain worked for the UAE military from 1996 to 1997.

He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), Arab Regional Forum (ARF) and the UAE Judicial Association. He is listed as an arbitrator in the panels of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre.

Hussain lectures on civil procedure and trademark law and contributes to publications on various topics of litigation and dispute resolution.
