Ami Osnat

Position

Ami Osnat is a partner in the firm’s litigation department, as well as an arbitrator and a mediator.

For his entire professional career, both as an associate and as a partner in a number of Israel’s leading law firms, Ami has worked in the various areas of commercial law, in labor law and in administrative law. Inter alia, Ami has been involved in consulting and in drafting and advising, on large and complex agreements and tenders and has handled intricate international contracts and provided representation to large entities in complex legal proceedings. Ami has served as advisor for several municipalities, such as Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Nazareth Ilit, Kalansawa and Jaljulia, as well as for various official bodies and governmental corporations. He acts as legal advisor to various office holders in the public sector and also lead a banking team working on complex banking issues, including financial transactions vis-a-vis banks.

For many years, Ami was a senior lecturer in administrative law at Tel Aviv University as well as teaching, inter alia, corporate law, labor law, contract law, jurisprudence and business law for MBA students. From 1988 until 1994 Ami taught administrative law (as chief lecturer in this field) at Bar Ilan University, and since 1995, has held the position of associate lecturer (comparable to Professor) at the Faculty of Law at Haifa University. Ami has published numerous legal articles in many professional periodicals, mainly in the field of administrative law.

In 2012, Ami was awarded the title of “Distinguished Professional” by the Israel Bar Association.
