Foyen recruits four business lawyers from Nyman Rudenstam

– increasing focus on business law within the energy sector

5 December, 2016

Foyen continues to enhance the firm’s offer of business law services through the recruitment of four lawyers from the Nyman Rudenstam Law Firm. With the recruitments, Foyen becomes an even stronger force in business law within the energy sector. At the end of the year, Tomas Rudenstam and Jonas Conradsson will join the firm as partners. At the same time, associates Yasmine Shoaie-nia and Elinor Pejryd from Nyman Rudenstam will also join the firm.

- Through the recruitments, we are further advancing our position in business law. We are uniting Foyen’s expertise in traditional companies with our new colleagues’ expertise in start-up companies and future solutions within the energy sector, says Foyen’s CEO Lars Hag.

Tomas Rudenstam and Jonas Conradsson both have extensive legal experience. They co-founded the Nyman Rudenstam law firm and previously worked at Lindahl and Baker & McKenzie. Both are specialists in commercial contracts, M&A, company law and international transactions. For several years, they have also focused particularly on start-up companies in the energy sector and it is in this context that they have worked with Europe’s largest venture incubators in the sector.

Yasmine Shoaie-nia specialises in transactions and employment law, and has previously worked at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton. Elinor Pejryd has previous experience from the Ahlford Law Firm.

- Foyen is a very strong brand on the legal market and is at the forefront in many areas of the law. We can now assist in further strengthening its expertise in areas such as M&A, company law and commercial contracts; not least in the energy sector, where we work with many emerging companies. At the same time, we will be able to offer our clients a wider range of legal services,” says Tomas Rudenstam.
