Diversity

Legance has always supported equal opportunities between men and women and does not allow any form of direct or indirect discrimination based on age, gender, sexuality, physical integrity, race, nationality, religious and political beliefs. Pursuant to this directive, Legance has drafted a Gender Equality Policy.

Legance is an equal opportunity business and adopts a Code of Ethics which embraces the principle of non-discrimination in any form and it is particularly active in the support of important initiatives and associations, focused on respecting and safeguarding diversity and, in particular, the growth of women’s leadership.

The Firm has foreseen and adopted guidelines in favour of diversity especially within its policies, in order to protect the role of professionals with parental responsibilities. There is no foreclosure for LGBTQIA+ professionals and no mapping is made for privacy reasons even with those who have expressed their orientation.

As far as raising awareness policies are concerned, no policy has been adopted to date, since there is a feeling of deep respect for all individuals.

With regards to access to professional and staff positions, as well as in its remuneration policy and career progression, Legance does not discriminate in any way on the basis of gender, sexual orientation or any other discriminating factor, basing its decisions entirely on the evaluation of commitment and overall working skills.

In 2023, 45% of professionals are women.

Legance has also organised several initiatives to foster diversity values and to raise awareness.
