Career

Stefano Parlatore has been practicing in litigation, insolvency and restructuring law for more than twenty years. He advises important Italian and foreign companies in complex litigations and arbitrations, as well as in insolvency procedures. During his career Stefano Parlatore has worked for an important US law firm in Wilmington (USA), as a member of the litigation and arbitration department, and for the Delaware Supreme Court (USA). He has extensive experience both in the extra-judicial phase, including conciliation procedures, and the judicial phase concerning commercial, corporate and finance matters. Stefano Parlatore represents and assists clients before ordinary courts, also in proceedings relating to interim measures, and before special authorities, including the specialised branches for intellectual property matters, and the Italian Data Protection Authority.

He has also significant experience in the field of national and international, commercial and investment arbitration proceedings, both institutional and ad hoc.

He has also developed a substantial experience in insolvency and restructuring matters by advising several Italian and foreign financial institutions and funds, active in the distressed debt, default portfolio trading, turnaround transactions, in extraordinary administration and bankruptcy, or in restructuring of debts.

He is a Supreme Court barrister.

Since 2016 Stefano Parlatore has been included in band A into the annual Energy Report by Legalcommunity, as Partner operating in important Energy Dispute Resolution cases.
