Career

Dario is the head of the Energy, Environment and Sustainability Department at LCA Studio Legale.

Dario has specialized in regulatory matters in the energy sector and assists clients, among other things, with the drafting of EPC, PPA, O&M contracts, energy and gas supply, public-private partnership agreements, authorizations and disputes in the renewable sources (photovoltaic, wind, biogas and biomethane sectors), oil & gas, and natural resources.

He has also gained wide expertise in environmental law and usually advises clients in remediation procedures, compliance issues, service contracts, waste transport and management, by-products and end of waste, disputes for environmental damages, administrative procedures, in addition to due diligence, M&A and real estate deals.

He provides assistance to companies in “sustainable growth” processes, especially in matters of Corporate Social Responsibility (codes of conduct, corporate governance), drafting of ESG contracts and supply value chain procedures, sustainability reports, ESG certifications, reporting and due diligence, setting up of Benefit Corporations and Third Sector Entities, as well as in ESG litigation (civil rights, climate change and greenwashing).

Dario has decades of experience in civil and commercial litigation, especially in technical-scientific and cross-border cases. He also advises on matters of company law, generational hand-over and art law.

He regularly assists Italian and foreign clients in the energy, environmental, chemical, fashion, manufacturing and life sciences sectors.

Before becoming a partner of LCA in 2019, Dario had collaborated since 2007 in the Litigation Department of Bonelli Erede Pappalardo law firm in Milan.

Dario collaborates with the Chair of Institutions of Private Law at the Faculty of Law of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano.

He authored several publications on tort liability and damages compensation, environmental law, medical devices and art law. He also teaches law in seminars, training and e-learning courses.
