Partner in the Dispute Resolution Department, Maria José de Tavares has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, involving high value and complex claims, as well as international and national arbitration.

With more than 25 years of experience, Maria José regularly advises on general commercial litigation, in particular on cases involving insurance, fraud and professional negligence, financial services, construction and infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, M&A and shareholders disputes, and also contentious insolvencies and recoveries. She also works on trading and commercial mediation, pre and post-litigation.
