Oleg Chayka is a well-known  expert in tax matters, including tax disputes, deals and international taxation, who is acknowledged in Ukraine and other jurisdictions and who is regularly featured in Ukrainian and international rankings.

As a leading expert in tax matters, Oleg participated in landmark international arbitration cases that involved consideration of complex tax issues.

Oleg has unique experience in deals and international taxation obtained when he was advising clients in Canada, Malta and Ukraine on tax matters. This unique experience is now very relevant in the context of recent implementation of the international tax initiatives that are part of the BEPS plan and contemplated introduction of the controlled foreign company rules in Ukraine in 2022. 

Prior to joining Arzinger, Oleg has made astonishing career in one of the B4 firms both in Ukraine and abroad and obtained unique experience of working with international and local clients. Amongst others, Oleg’s experience includes developing bills and other regulatory initiatives.
