Career

Anzhelika has more than 25 years of experience in Energy & Natural Resources and Real Estate & Construction. She focuses on Ukrainian and European land law, environmental law, mineral resources research and mining; construction and real estate issues (including preparation and negotiations of the general construction agreements, lease agreements, land lease agreements, superficies, servitudes), preparation of the due diligence reports. 

Experience 

advised an international oil and gas exploration and production company on the sale of shares in private natural gas producer operating in Ukraine and conducting legal due diligence;  advised one of the world’s biggest oil companies on due diligence and project structuring, including the obtaining necessary permits  for geological survey (special permits for mineral resources use), obtaining mining claim, obtaining rights to land  (i.e. entering into of long-term land lease agreements and servitude agreements); obtaining special environmental permits (including permits for wastes disposal, emissions and discharges); preparation of mandatory insurance contracts on public liability for possible damage to extra-hazardous objects, and matters of mandatory land reclamation; advised international companies on regulation of mineral resources production in Ukraine, real estate lease (including lease of the state-owned property) for mineral resources production, obtaining all mandatory environmental permits and preparation of insurance agreements; advice on legal regulation  of gas supplies as per regulated and non-regulated tariffs; analysis of joint activity agreements on mineral resources production; regarding legal liability for potential ecological damage due to environmental pollution, transportation and waste utilization; advised an international retail, property management and development company on acquisition of rights and change of land use for shopping centre development projects in Ukraine;  advised an export credit agency on complex real estate issues in connection with debt restructuring of one of largest agricultural holding in Europe; advised a Romanian textile manufacturing company on various real estate issues and conducting real estate due diligence in connection with the acquisition of clothing factory; advised an international financial institution on complex real estate issues, real estate due diligence, land law and transaction support in connection with provision of a construction loan for building a grain drying and purification complex.
