Lana Sinichkina is a well-recognized professional by both national and international legal rankings, leading a big team of lawyers, providing legal support on competition & antitrust – related matters to major international and national companies and institutions on a daily basis.
Lana’s work experience in legal business is over 17 years. Prior to joining Arzinger, she was employed at JurService Consulting Company. She also worked at the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. Lana headed the foreign trade and litigation support department at Nemiroff and was Managing Partner at Lukowisc Swierzewskiy & Partners (Ukrainian Office). She also headed the legal department at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ukraine and GlaxoSmithKline Consumers Healthcare Ukraine.
Public Activity:
Drafting amendments and amending the anti-corruption legislation of Ukraine to bring it into line with European standards; Reforming the legal field for life sciences and healthcare in Ukraine, in particular, reforms in the state procurement of medicinal products and medical devices; development and implementation of the concept for simplified registration of medicinal products in Ukraine to eliminate corruption risks and administrative burden; Drafting amendments and reforming the food industry legislation, in particular, on abolishing the price regulation for socially significant products, reforming the legislation on waste management and control over food quality and safety, approximating the legislation to European standards and requirements of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU; Reforming the antitrust and competition legislation, including the formation of approaches to the calculation of fines for violations of competition legislation, legislative reforms to eliminate corruption risks and introduce the principles of transparent functioning for the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and its interaction with business operators.Languages
