Position

Partner at LexCase since 2020, Iliana BOUBEKEUR heads the IP/IT/Data department. She advises the firm's French and foreign clients notably in the technology, innovation, communication, entertainment, media and advertising industry sectors, both in transactional and litigation matters.

The IP/IT/Data department advises its clients in four main areas:

- Intellectual property (mainly copyright and trademarks, as well as domain names): due diligence; IP prosecution; management of IP rights portfolios; drafting and negotiation of assignment contracts, licensing agreements, R&D arrangements, etc.; implementation of dispute resolution procedures for domain names; copyright and trademark infringement litigation, as well as related unfair competition litigation.

- IT and telecom: IT projects; drafting and negotiation of IT contracts; information systems security; cybersecurity; pre-litigation and litigation in IT and contractual matters.

- Data: data management and exploitation strategy; GDPR compliance projects; data protection officer missions; assistance before the supervisory authorities (notably the French data protection authority, CNIL); data privacy related documentation; CNIL investigations; pre-litigation and litigation.

- Media and e-commerce: advice in the development and implementation of digital projects ; image rights; regulatory compliance; drafting of the online contractual documentation; management of take-down notices; hosting services/publishers liability issues; pre-litigation and litigation relating notably to online content.
