Alain De BELENET

Partner at LexCase since 2010, Alain de BELENET leads, alongside Raphaël APELBAUM, Diane BANDON-TOURRET and Maxime BÜSCH, the Public Business Law and Health and Life sciences departments.. His professional practice is divided into four main areas: a) Public contract law (public procurement contracts, concessions, BEA and public land occupancy agreements, complex contractual arrangements), both as an advisor and a litigator, including conciliation, mediation and arbitration mechanisms ; b) The law regarding public property, occupation of public land, urban planning and land development; c) Public law relative to healthcare products; d) The law governing the liability of public operators and services, and related compensation litigation. For the most part, Alain's practice focuses on construction and public works, railway activities, skiable areas and the healthcare industry, although it spreads well beyond these main sectors. Amaury De CARLAN

Amaury DE CARLAN is a partner at LexCase since 2018 and heads the Tax Law Department along with Philippe DROUILLOT. Amaury assists businesses, their executives and their shareholders with corporate restructurings. He participates in the development of family-owned businesses through mergers, acquisitions, transfers and OBOs. He also advises investment funds on how to structure their acquisition of holdings, financing, investment and management packages. Amaury is an instructor at the Ecole des Avocats (law school), at the University and at EM LYON business school.

Aurélie POULIGUEN

As a lawyer since 2007, AuréIie POULIGUEN has been practicing exclusively in the field of real estate law for both professionals and individuals. Her experience in real estate, commercial property and co-ownership for more than fifteen years allows her to intervene in many areas of private real estate law, and whenever necessary to closely collaborate with other skills of the firm. The activity of her team is thus articulated around the four following pillars: - Commercial, professional, and residential leases, - Construction and real estate development, - Transactions and sales, - Real estate management and co-ownership. The daily practice in these areas enables Aurelie's team to be acquainted with the market players and easily identify the strategies to be implemented, to efficiently meet their clients' needs. Her engaged and reactive team intervenes in council as well as in litigation cases, with a recognized and established experience in the practices of legal expertise and mediation, as inherent parts of their activity.

Christophe BLUM

Christophe BLUM joined LexCase in January 2018 and head the Corporate Law Department with Guillaume PIERSON. Christophe assists executives with the management of their legal projects and the organization of their own assets, from the conceptual to the execution phases. His practice covers all of the stages of the life of an entrepreneur, from the setting up of a business and the everyday legal management of the business to the structuring of groups of companies (implementation of holding structures, drafting of intra-group agreements), and employee and executive equity ownership (free shares, BSPCE (founder’s share subscription warrants), stock options, and other securities). Christophe's areas of expertise also includes growth and development projects, mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he assists shareholders and CEOs in managing their assets and succession to anticipate the legal impact of life’s uncertainties.

Delphine LOYER

Partner since 2021 at LexCase, Delphine LOYER heads the Insurance Law Department. As a holder of a certificate of specialisation in insurance law, Delphine advises, assists and defends the clients in this area, throughout France. In the context of consulting, the Insurance Law team carries out insurance contract audits. Managers/decision-makers are concerned about managing the potential risks of the company’s activity and request a verification of the adequacy of the guarantees either in relation to the needs of the activity, or in a merger-acquisition project for example. It drafts legal consultations and/or strategic notes at the request of clients, to help them make decisions. The Insurance Law team also acts on an ad hoc basis for insurance intermediaries (brokers, insurance intermediaries’ agents, etc.) in the context of their legal obligations related to the practice of their activity.

Diane Bandon-Tourret

Attorney at law registered at the Paris Bar, Diane BANDON-TOURRET leads the Life Sciences department of LexCase. Throughout her career, in both French and International law Firms, she has built a practice dedicated to Life Sciences industrials (pharmaceutical companies, medical device, cosmetics, and food supplements manufacturers, biotechs, contract research organizations…). She advises her clients on regulatory issues, notably manufacturing, market access, pricing, promotion, compliance with anti-gift regulations and withdrawal of health products. I also handle proceedings against French competent authorities, notably on sanitary police issues and is representing her clients before courts in serial liability cases.

Florence DRAPIER FAURE

Florence DRAPIER FAURE joined LexCase in 2010 as Partner in the Employment Law Department. With a team of four lawyers, they assist major groups, as well as regional and national SMEs. Florence and her team assist with the implementation of the Human Resource management policy to provide them with legal security and help them optimize their labor relations.

Guillaume PIERSON

Partner at LexCase since November 2009 Guillaume PIERSON heads the Corporate Law/Mergers & Acquisitions Department with Christophe BLUM. The Corporate Law/Mergers & Acquisitions team provides services at the earliest possible stage of a project in order to assist its clients throughout the life of the project and the legal process. More specifically, this team has acquired expertise in the structuring of complex acquisitions and is able to organize and rely on all of the firm’s departments when due diligence is performed for acquisitions. Guillaume also advises all types of clients (startups, executives, groups, national and international businesses) on their everyday legal issues. Additionally, he is particularly interested in the law governing non-profit associations and advise senior managers of these organizations.

Iliana BOUBEKEUR

Partner at LexCase since 2020, Iliana BOUBEKEUR heads the IP/IT/Data department. She advises the firm's French and foreign clients notably in the technology, innovation, communication, entertainment, media and advertising industry sectors, both in transactional and litigation matters. The IP/IT/Data department advises its clients in four main areas: - Intellectual property (mainly copyright and trademarks, as well as domain names): due diligence; IP prosecution; management of IP rights portfolios; drafting and negotiation of assignment contracts, licensing agreements, R&D arrangements, etc.; implementation of dispute resolution procedures for domain names; copyright and trademark infringement litigation, as well as related unfair competition litigation. - IT and telecom: IT projects; drafting and negotiation of IT contracts; information systems security; cybersecurity; pre-litigation and litigation in IT and contractual matters. - Data: data management and exploitation strategy; GDPR compliance projects; data protection officer missions; assistance before the supervisory authorities (notably the French data protection authority, CNIL); data privacy related documentation; CNIL investigations; pre-litigation and litigation. - Media and e-commerce: advice in the development and implementation of digital projects ; image rights; regulatory compliance; drafting of the online contractual documentation; management of take-down notices; hosting services/publishers liability issues; pre-litigation and litigation relating notably to online content.

Maxime BÜSCH

As a partner at LexCase since 2022, Maxime BÜSCH leads the Public Business Law department alongside Alain de Belenet and Raphaël Apelbaum. In collaboration with the Department’s team, Maxime assists clients in the private and public sectors, in particular in the sector of construction (contracts and liability), property management, railway activities and healthcare product sectors. He works both in the advisory phase and in the pre-litigation and litigation phase, mainly in matters of public contract law, public property law, town planning law and liability law for public persons. Maxime also provided legal training on public procurement contracts, in particular for LexFormation, Edition Formation Entreprise (EFE) and Le Moniteur Formations.

Philippe DROUILLOT

Philippe DROUILLOT has been a partner at LexCase since 2009 and co-heads the Tax Law Department. Philippe has acquired specific expertise on the key role of taxation in a company’s business, in particular for international groups, optimizing and ensuring the solidity of corporate operations. He also provides training on taxation in management schools and universities.

Raphaël APELBAUM

Partner at LexCase since 2014, Raphaël APELBAUM co-manages the Public Business Law department with Alain de BELENET and Maxime BÜSCH. A public lawyer by training, he followed his career in the United States for several years before returning to France in 2006. He is admitted in New York and Paris. He is a specialist of the French Administration. Raphael assists his clients in numerous matters related to French public business law and public procurement law, construction law, and regulatory law (customs and immigration). He also advises and provides complex expert opinions on numerous public and/or private works and construction projects in France (pre-litigation negotiations, mediation, discussions before expert committees, complex expert opinions). Thanks to his international experience, he also advises major industrial groups facing problems with the French Administration, whether in connection with contractual performance or regulatory issues.

Sébastien SEMOUN

Sébastien SEMOUN has been a partner at LexCase since December 2014 and currently head the Business Law Department. More specifically, he provided legal services in the field of distribution law with my three team members. Business law is a fascinating field, as it delves into the lives of businesses. It is exciting to assist our clients in matters that range from the implementation of a project to the actual marketing and sales of products and services of all types. Curiosity is key, as we must become familiar with our clients’ corporate culture, their goals and values, so that we can offer the most appropriate contractual arrangements and, when needed, an effective defense. Throughout his career, Sébastien has acquired solid experience in business law, in particular distribution law, both as a consultant and as a litigator.
