Continental has stated that it will not contest the fine. Raue provided regulatory advice to Continental AG in these proceedings. The advice concerned fundamental questions of compliance with emissions standards, in particular with regard to unauthorised defeat devices. In particular, Raue examined whether individual vehicle components constitute unauthorised defeat devices.
