Position
Attorney Demir primarily offers the following services:
Legal counsel services for real and legal persons, contract preparation, revision and interpretation of contracts, conduct board meetings on behalf of our clients, preparing memorandums of association and establishing corporations and limited liability corporations, authorized signatory transactions, cancel, amend, alter or otherwise modify memorandums of association, general assembly operations, transfer and registration of shares, change of company type, mergers and acquisitions, and all other transactions in the scope of acquisitions in accordance with Corporate Law.
Specifically in the field of Trademark Law, follow-up of Trademark Infringement and cancellation proceedings, survey of convenience for trademark registration, global trademark portfolio management, international trademark registration, trademark litigation, clearance and prosecution, brand protection strategies, registration and licensing, anti-counterfeiting, confiscation of counterfeit goods, and copyright litigation.
Specifically in the field of Commercial Landlord-tenant Law, preparation of lease contracts for client’s property, follow-up procedures for collection of overdue rent, and eviction transactions.
On behalf of the creditors and in particular the real estate owners, protecting the rights of our clients in cases of bankruptcy postponement.
In the scope of Family Law, addressing cases of uncontested or contested divorce and division of matrimonial assets
Work permit applications for foreigners, applications for citizenship and residency permits, carrying out finalization and renewal processes,
Specializing in the fields of Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Real Estate Law and serve both foreign and local clients via legal counsel and legal proceedings
Career
He graduated from Maltepe University Law Faculty in 2009. He completed his postgraduate studies on International Commercial Law at Bournemouth University in 2011.
For almost 2 years he worked for Multi Development company as an in-house attorney and then he became an attorney for our firm. He consults local and international firms generally on Labor Law, Commercial Law, Real Estate Law, and IP Law. He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), Foreign Economic Relations Board of Spain, and Labor Council Executive Board Croatia.
