About
The firm: Mr Leontiou has been registered as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Cyprus since 1995. After a career as a litigation and corporate lawyer, he established the law firm of Zomenis & Leontiou in October 2003 after purchasing the practice of retired barrister-at-law Mr Nicos Zomenis. The practice has, as of 7 July 2011, continued under the name of G. Leontiou LLC. Mr Leontiou is the managing partner and has headed most of the firm’s large litigation cases, including matters before the permanent Court of Arbitration at The Hague and as part of a team in the Royal Court of Guernsey and the High Court of England and Wales. Mr Leontiou has also headed teams of both local and international lawyers handling large arbitrations/litigations involving overseas jurisdictions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, the Russian Federation and Liechtenstein.
Areas of practice: G. Leontiou LLC covers a wide spectrum of legal services, with strong specialisation in areas such as corporate law, shareholders’ disputes, internet law and regulation, law of trusts, administrative law, constitutional law, estate planning and administrations and disputes between beneficiaries, shipping and admiralty law, family law and contract law.
