Nigel is Partner in our Investment Funds & Asset Management team.

Nigel specialises in closed-ended fund structuring, capital raising and restructuring and reconstruction transactions. He also has extensive experience of takeovers, proxy battles and asset management arrangements in this sector. He advises asset managers, boards of directors, brokers and investment banks and also institutional investors. He also undertakes private fund formation work. His practice spans a wide variety of fund structures suited to a broad range of asset classes, including real estate, infrastructure, royalty, credit, private equity, hedge and other investment strategies. It also includes regulatory and other advisory work, and he is currently active in the London Stock Exchange led campaign group seeking reform of the UK costs disclosure regime as it applies to listed closed-ended funds.
