Tim Jones

Employment.

Tim is a partner and Head of the Employment team at Higgs LLP. Tim advises upon all areas of employment law, and has a particular interest in mediation and tribunal advocacy. Recent instructions include complex claims of sex, race, disability, whistle-blowing and breach of restrictive covenant. He has also undertaken large-scale redundancy programmes for plc clients involving collective consultation with multiple unions. In addition, Tim is a mediator and by way of direct appointment is regularly appointed to mediate by the Association of Midland Mediators, ADR Group and Talk Mediation. He is also a professional trainer, and has trained for Nottingham Law School on higher rights. He regularly lectures for Central Law Training and MBL seminars, and he is an NLP practitioner. Clients include major brewers, manufacturers, professional businesses, and senior executives and directors.
