Areas of practice: Rutgers & Posch has in-depth expertise and experience in the fields of corporate law, finance and insolvency law, commercial law, employment law and litigation. The clients are national and international businesses in the profit and non-profit sector. Rutgers & Posch focuses on the key legal needs of clients, including the drafting of legal agreements, negotiating and co-ordinating transactions, and creating solutions for challenging legal issues and complex disputes. Rutgers & Posch also litigates matters in court and before tribunals, and advises on all employment law issues.
Corporate/M&A: Rutgers & Posch acts for corporates, and institutional and private equity investors in all types of M&A transactions, including strategic alliances and joint ventures, and further advises on commercial contracts. Besides this, the capital markets practice is extensive, advising on both equity capital markets and debt capital markets. The firm frequently advises on IPOs, rights issues, private takeovers, public takeover bids and joint ventures.
Finance and insolvency: Rutgers & Posch has an extended practice in this field, with a particular focus on banking, (debt) capital markets, financial regulatory and restructuring/insolvency (including court appointments). The firm acts for financial institutions, corporates, government bodies, rating agencies, funds, and other international public and private clients.
Litigation: this practice includes both (commercial and corporate) litigation and arbitration. The team has a special focus on cross-border work. Clients include national and international companies, insurers, banks and government institutions.
