After graduating from Istanbul University Law School in 1991, Mr. Güzeldere obtained his LL.M. degree on International Legal Studies at Golden Gate University (San Francisco, USA) in 1997. Throughout his career, he has advised several local and foreign corporations and banks regarding various aspects of Turkish law. Besides privatization, financing of energy projects, financing projects, takeovers and many joint venture projects, he has drafted and concluded numerous contracts, assumed responsibility for the establishment of companies, branches and liaison offices established with foreign capital, drafted and advised on a number of contracts, including loan agreements, construction contracts, joint venture and other related financial agreements of a number of domestic and foreign banks and financing institutions. Mr. Güzeldere has acquired significant merger and acquisition, foreign investment and intellectual property law experience. Mr. Güzeldere has been providing consultancy services to one of the largest family-owned companies in Turkey for more than twenty years and has acquired significant know-how in the management of both family-owned and holding companies. Thanks to this know-how, he has successfully continued the institutionalization or restructuring projects of more and more family businesses over the past years.
