Career

Having successfully completed his Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree in 2016, Andrew obtained his Master of Advocacy degree at the University of Malta in 2017. He proceeded to obtain his Master Degree with Distinction in International Maritime Law from the International Maritime Law Institute (IMO) in 2018 and was awarded the Transport Malta Prize for Best Performance in Shipping Law. Andrew also successfully completed the MIT Course on Taxation and was awarded a Professional Award Certificate. In 2019, Andrew obtained the warrant to practice as an advocate before the Maltese Courts and is also a member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates. In 2022 Andrew was elected on the executive committee of the Malta Maritime Law Association.

Andrew currently forms part of the Corporate and Commercial Law Department and the Yachting Department within DF Advocates where his main practice areas include corporate law, general commercial law, shipping and yachting and aviation.

Andrew assists local and foreign clients in a variety of transactional and operational matters, including setting up of joint ventures, corporate governance and maintenance issues. Andrew also advises clients on vessel (including superyachts) and aircraft acquisitions and ownership and operational structures.
