Jonathan Thompson

Civil Law and Litigation Department. Principal areas of practice include civil, commercial and corporate litigation, real estate and hospitality, public and administrative law, industrial law and public procurement.

Career

Jonathan started his legal training in 2007, where he gained extensive experience in various aspects related to civil, commercial and corporate litigation. He then graduated as Doctor of Laws in 2010 after submitting his thesis entitled “Defences to Liability in Tort” and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2011. In 2011, Jonathan joined DF Advocates as an Associate within the Civil Law and Litigation Department of the Firm. Jonathan has been heading the Firm’s Civil Law and Litigation Department since 2013, and in 2017 he was appointed as a Partner at DF Advocates.
