Position

Partner and head of employment team; also qualified and admitted as a lawyer in Germany and practising as a German lawyer. Assisting businesses from the UK and abroad (medium, large and listed companies, including household names in the UK and from German speaking countries) as well as individuals, usually on board level, with all aspects of contentious and non-contentious English and German employment law. The advice usually involves international and cross border employment issues and often questions of applicable law, as well as state immunity. Specialities: drafting and negotiating contracts of employment and executives’ service agreements and restrictive covenants, termination of employment contracts and service agreements, negotiating settlement agreements, discrimination claims, collective and individual redundancies, business sales and acquisitions (including TUPE transfers). Legal support provided in English or German.
