Position

Sophie Couturier is Managing Associate in charge of the Criminal law and Human Rights department in Zabaldano Lawyers. 

 With over 12 years of experience in Monegasque law, Sophie applies her wealth of knowledge and technical ability in corporate crime and European Human Rights law to advising clients including individuals such as directors, senior employees, high-net-worth individuals and corporations.

Her main field of expertise is business criminal law and she works with Arnaud Zabaldano on several leading criminal cases coordinating multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional teams in order to provide valuable advice in highly complex cross border matters to a local and foreign clientele, in proceedings with an international dimension (such as international letters of rogatory, white-collar crime, extradition requests, etc.).

Career

Sophie joined the firm in 2013 after working as a Senior associate in another law firm in Monaco and spending several years as a lawyer at the bars of Brussels and Nice. She now runs the Criminal and Human Rights team
