Adam Nahálka

Junior Associate: Adam has joined LEGATE team in 2022 after graduating the university studies in Bratislava. Adam engaged Insolvecny & Restructuring, commercial, corporate and dispute resolution team to gain specialization in the field to provide the clients with specific legal advisory.

Alena Pláňavská

Senior Partner: Since joining the team in 2001 Alena secured a long term liaison with the matters concerning the MOL Group. Alena is invaluable member when speaking of energy projects construction and development while being the counsel fully devoted to the client and his interests, among other also holding the contract negotiations, presiding the operative meetings with the contractors during the course of contract and advising the project managers regarding the course of the contract until the project is fully finished including post contractual advisory. Alena shows remarkable skills related to EPC contracts, plus-fee contracts and matters related to coordination of public procurement and financial project management of the engineering department of significant energy and industry players within Slovak Republic.

Gabriela Petáková

Senior Associate: Gabriela joined LEGATE in 2024. Gabriela focuses on commercial and corporate agenda of LEGATE clients and providing the complex legal advisory in the field.

Ivana Šaková

Senior Associate: Since joining the LEGATE team, Ivana mainly focuses on corporate and commercial matters and matters related to contract law. Ivana’s previous broad experience acquired in several of well-known Slovak law offices which allowed to gain and benefit from invaluable commercial and corporate law skills.

Matej Mlynka

Senior Associate: MAtej has joined LEGATE team in March 2023 and since his arrival is engaged within the Commercial law and Disputes agenda Moreover Matej specializes also at the corporate law, energy law, M&A giving the clients reliable legal support and advisory.

Michal Mistrík

Senior Associate: Michal joined the team in 2006 and is mainly responsible for the employment matters including transfer of employees at the cross-border mergers of the subsidiaries, advising on application of TUPE principle at the acquisitions and others. Profound expertise of Michal and continual development and training in employment practice area ensure that LEGATE is eligible to provide unique and comprehensive assistance for both employers and employees, whether on national or foreign level.

Miroslav Dudlák, MBA

Of counsel: Miroslav became part of the LEGATE team in October 2019 and concurrently being an Of counsel since 2020. He benefits from his former 12 years-experience as head of legal at leading energy player in Slovakia with 1.3 Mio customers in both gas and electricity supplies. During his practice, Miroslav has gained complex and diverse legal expertise, particularly in the area of energy law and regulation, consumer protection, competition and the contractual matters and matters falling under the commercial law. In 2018, Miroslav co-authored “Practical Commentary of Energy Act” published by Wolter Kluwers. Moreover, in August 2020 Miroslav has been temporarily appointed by the National Council of the Slovak republic as a member (one of six experts within the energy sector) of Regulatory Board of the Slovak Regulatory Office for Network Industries, proving the high-end energy sector expertise. In October 2021 Miroslav has been re-elected by the National Council of the Slovak Republic for next 6 years to continue in his mission at Regulatory Board of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries that claimed his unrivalled value within the energy sector.

Norbert Havrila

Partner: Norbert has joined LEGATE team in August 2017, while previously acquiring intense legal skills as a member at several renowned Slovak law offices. Since joining the LEGATE team, Norbert has proved his proficient legal skills to become stabile member of LEGATE M&A, commercial law and corporate team. During his practice, Norbert also managed to acquire complex and diverse legal expertise, particularly in the area of litigation, arbitration and disputes resolution, representation before administrative authorities and matters falling under the contractual matters. In 2024 Norbert has been promoted to Partner position in LEGATE to act as co-head of M&A team covering the strenuous M&A and corporate assignments.

Peter Vrábel

Managing Partner: Practice head and firm managing partner Peter Vrábel is a counsel in charge. Peter as skilful litigator benefits from his former experience at premium international law firm Squire Patton Boggs. His previous experience in Slovak anti-monopoly offices means that he has extensive contacts with regulatory bodies, which prove especially helpful in merger filings. The close cooperation with AVENIAS tax advisors (former KPMG tax counsels) and other specialists and professionals (technicians; experts/appraisers; accountants) proves that Peter provides more than a regular legal service but complex counselling preventing any formation of side issues linked with clients’ M&A matters (with respect to the acquisition projects) such as proper legal and tax shields. Peter is leading partner with respect to ongoing commercial, corporate and M&A field assignments arisen by clients proved by his membership within Globalaw M&A desk. Moreover, Peter utilizes his legal and commercial experience as stabile and long-time arbitrator before Arbitration court of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Soňa Fusková

Junior Associate: Soňa has joined LEGATE team in 2021 after graduating the university studies in Trnava. Soňa engaged commercial, corporate and dispute resolution team to gain specialization in the field to provide the clients with specific legal advisory.

Viktória Draškaba, MEconSC

Senior Associate: Viktoria joined the LEGATE team in 2008 and specializes for the field of public procurement, taxation matters and administrative law matters. As the essential individual of LEGATE team, Viktoria provides the clients with significant advices and legal recommendations related to smooth procurement processes and complex taxation issues. Nevertheless, Viktoria is key member when it comes to public law matters including the counselling to municipalities being under intense high public scrutiny.
