The firm: Jérôme Barbier founded Barbier Legal in 2015 (Paris) and opened the Switzerland office (Neuchâtel) in 2016. He is a member of the Paris Bar, duly authorised to practise permanently legal representation in Switzerland.

Areas of practice: Expert in crisis management, Barbier Legal is highly skilled in matters of pre insolvency proceedings, financial restructuring, distressed merger and acquisition transactions, industrial restructuring and cross-border insolvencies. Barbier Legal assists clients, distressed companies as well as investors, in the preparation and negotiation of restructuring plans.

The firm also advises and takes part in merger and acquisition transactions, private equity, commercial law and business litigations.
