Nazif Karataş specializes in white-collar crimes (fraud, embezzlement) and also focuses on financial crimes (tax-custom and social security). After working as a public officer for many years, he left his position and started to work as a Criminal Law Director at Nazalı.

Nazif completed his law education from 1997-2001 at Marmara University, Faculty of Law. He then pursued his Master’s Degree from 2006-2008 at Marmara University, Department of Public Law in Social Sciences Institute, with his thesis based on “Malfeasance in Office.” Afterwards, he started his PhD. He is also currently working on his these which discusses the subject of “Extradition of Criminals” at the Public Law Department, Social Sciences Institute of Marmara University.

Additionally, Nazif has served as a “conciliator” at the İstanbul Court of Justice for a year. He has also taught at various organizations in the fields of “Constitution Law, Labor Law and Criminal Law.”
