Serhii Derkach specializes in corporate law and M&A, competition law, and dispute resolution.
With 18 years of legal experience, including 6 years as an attorney, Sergiy handles a diverse range of cases, including:

• Providing legal support for investment attraction;
• Developing corporate structures and establishing consortiums;
• Obtaining preliminary conclusions and permits from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (including in the process of small-scale privatization of state-owned enterprises “Ukrspirt” and a single property complex grain mills);
• Establishing a joint venture with the participation of a foreign investor to build waste recycling plants in the Kyiv region (the project is implemented within the framework of international programs and the Ministry of Environment strategy);
• Conducting antimonopoly investigations and representing clients’ interests during proceedings on violations of competition law;
• Providing ongoing support for numerous corporate projects of one of the most famous Ukrainian breweries – “Opillya” and one of the market leaders in electronic auctions in Ukraine, UBIZ.UA;
• Supporting the sale of a controlling stake in PJSC “Tourist Complex “Cheremosh”;
• Reorganizing financial companies and coordinating significant participation acquisitions, bringing their activities in line with NBU licensing requirements;
• Apealing contesting auctions for the sale of special permits for subsoil use and other public procurement.

Serhii embarked on his legal journey in 2006 at private law firms. With substantial experience in electoral campaigns and civil society initiatives, he founded and actively participated in numerous civic organizations.
