Thanks to his former career as a treasury expert in Undersecretariat of Treasury, which is the Turkish insurance regulator through the Directorate General (DG) of Insurance, the well experienced Abdülkadir Sahan, the founding partner and head of the insurance division, leads the insurance team. With a wide knowledge and unique public sector experience in insurance law, the insurance team provides services to insurance companies, pension companies, reinsurance companies, insurance brokers, agencies and financial institutions. Sahan Law Office advises and assists its clients in a wide range of insurance-related matters including: incorporation, M&As and dissolution of companies; application for all kinds of licences to DG of Insurance; preparation and review of the insurance products in compliance with the law and relevant general terms and conditions; preparation and revision of brokerage, agency and reinsurance contracts; and delivering legal opinions on insurance regulations. From the foundation up to this day Şahan Law Office has provided legal assistance for local, regional and global projects of its clients.

The firm has particularly assisted its clients with their key corporate and compliance matters and represented them before the courts and public institutions.
