The firm: Saliba Stafrace Legal is a law firm operating from Valletta. The firm was founded in 2013 under the name ‘Ian Stafrace Legal’ by Ian J. Stafrace. In a strategic move to grow its service portfolio and continue to offer its clients effective solutions, Ian Stafrace has in 2015 partnered with Joseph Saliba.

Ian Stafrace, is a Maltese Lawyer who has been admitted to the Maltese Bar in 1998. He started his professional career by focusing on corporate matters working for an affiliated company of one of the Big Four audit firms. He then became partner at a local law firm specialising in civil and administrative law matters. He then served as the CEO of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, the Maltese Agency regulating environment protection and development planning until April 2013. In May 2013, he returned to his profession and set up the firm Ian Stafrace Legal.

Joseph Saliba became a lawyer and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 1998. Joseph has started his professional career with one of the leading Maltese law firms in 1997, where he became a partner in 2008 and has throughout the years been involved mainly in corporate law, banking, capital markets and financial services laws and privatizations.

Saliba Stafrace Legal has recorded a steady growth over the years from its inception and now consists of six  lawyers, all committed to give a service of excellence in all of its main practice areas.

The firm focuses on these areas of specialisation not only because it has the relevant resources and knowledge, but it prides itself in having a high level of expertise and experience which enables it to excel in such areas.

In any one of these areas of practice the firm provides a specialist, personalized, bespoke and hands on service to clients, in a timely and effective manner. The firm has consistently advised corporate clients, individual clients and government institutions.
