Position

Daphne specializes in private international law (PIL) involving insolvency law, the law of obligations and business law. Daphne advises and litigates on a variety of matters regarding (in particular) the international jurisdiction of courts, the applicable law and the recognition and enforcement of foreign decisions or arbitral awards, including (prejudgment) attachments. 

She is regularly appointed by the court as trustee in bankruptcies and provides counsel to clients, creditors, and prospective buyers in (impending) bankruptcy situations. 

Career

Daphne started her career at the Radboud University in Nijmegen in 2015. She joined Florent in 2018. She is a senior associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice.
