Senior Associate

Arthur is a dispute resolution lawyer with over 6 years’ experience. Arthur’s main focus is on cross-jurisdictional dispute resolution, international commercial arbitration and proceedings in the DIFC and ADGM Courts.

Arthur is a solicitor qualified in England & Wales. Prior to relocating to Dubai, Arthur trained and gained extensive experience in London where he worked on complex cases involving civil fraud and investor-state arbitration with amounts in dispute ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of US dollars. Arthur’s clients included corporations, banks, governments and high-net-worth individuals, and the matters were heard primarily by the High Court or international tribunals operating under the ICSID rules.

Since 2020, Arthur has been based in Dubai focusing his practice on disputes in the DIFC Court and arbitral proceedings administered by DIAC, ICC, and DIFC-LCIA.

Most recently, Arthur has been engaged intensely on matters concerning civil fraud, OFAC sanctions, shipping, international oil trade, criminal investigations, professional negligence and various commercial disputes.
