About
Founded in 2017 by Anne O’Connell, AOC Solicitors is an award-winning Irish law firm dedicated exclusively to Employment Law. Established with a clear vision to provide specialist, strategic and commercially focused employment law advice, the Firm has grown into one of Ireland’s leading practices in this field while maintaining the responsiveness and client focus of a boutique firm.
Over the past nine years, AOC Solicitors has expanded from a sole practitioner to a highly skilled and collaborative team comprising of Anne as the Principal, two Senior Associates, Laura Killelea and Jenny Wakely; Associate, Ethna Dillon; Solicitors Tara Kelly and Jane Holian, an intern, Erlan Li, a dedicated Practice Manager, Aisling Nolan and a Legal Administrator, Nadien Allakarami. This carefully developed team structure enables the Firm to deliver a consistently high standard of advice and representation across a wide breadth of employment law matters, while remaining agile, accessible and solutions driven.
In 2026, AOC Solicitors was elevated to Tier 1 by The Legal 500, becoming the first and only boutique employment law firm in Ireland to achieve this distinction. This recognition reflects not only the legal expertise of the Firm but also the exceptional quality of service delivered to clients. The Firm was further recognised by Legal 500 in 2026 for Client Satisfaction, based solely on client feedback, and is the only Tier 1 Employment Law Firm in Ireland to have been recognised across all four assessment categories: Lawyer & Team Quality, Billing & Efficiency, Sector Knowledge and Client Experience.
AOC Solicitors provides comprehensive employment law services to both employers and senior employees, advising on contentious and non-contentious matters across the full employment lifecycle. The Firm acts for a diverse client base including multinational corporations, semi state bodies, scaling start-ups, and senior executives and directors.
