Pensions (South West)

Lizzie is a legal director in the Pensions and Incentives team.

On the pensions side Lizzie advises on liability management exercises, including the closure and winding-up of pension schemes and buy-outs and buy-ins. She also advises both employers and trustees on key governance issues. For incentives, Lizzie advises both listed and private companies on a wide variety of employee share plans with a particular focus on EMI, Employee Shareholder Status and HMRC approved all employee share plans.

She provides general advice to companies on employee tax and the taxation of severance payments. Lizzie also advises on IR35 and the agency workers tax legislation.

Lizzie trained at TLT, qualified in September 2011 and became an Associate in May 2016.
