We have policies in place to support our commitment to equality and diversity and ensure that it is acted upon on a day to day basis. We also monitor the way that we employ and manage our staff and the way that we interact with clients, third parties and suppliers to ensure that our dealings are consistent with our principles.

Some examples of our recent diversity and inclusion initiatives and achievements include:

  • Thriving and active staff-led networks – Disability and Allies / LGBTQ+ / Race, Intersectionality and Structural Equality (RISE) / Women’s
  • Being a signatory to the Law Society Women in Law Pledge
  • A wide range of diversity policies that are regularly reviewed and updated, including a Menopause Policy and a Trans & Non Binary Inclusion Policy
  • Creation of a Parents’ Forum and introduction of a number of initiatives to support working parents and other carers
  • Celebration diversity events such as Black History Month and LGBTQ+ Pride, with events and resources open to all employees
  • A diverse programme of initiatives, training and events to support the mental health of all members of the firm through the challenges of hybrid working
  • Continuing to work with Stonewall as part of the Diversity Champions Programme
  • Use of Rare’s Contextual Recruitment System to support social mobility within our graduate recruitment process
