Shah Jahan Khandokar is a project development lawyer with extensive experience in energy and infrastructure projects across the full energy value chain.

Shah Jahan has a focus on international energy projects in emerging and frontier markets (particularly Middle East, Africa and Central and South Asia), with experience advising foreign investors/sponsors, lenders, and host governments.

His experience includes acting in liquid natural gas and pipeline projects, and both conventional and renewable power projects, including several first-in-country projects.  He is also working on pathfinder carbon capture projects and is a member of the firm's hydrogen working group.  His clients include multilateral organizations such as the World Bank Group, lenders, power developers, international oil companies, mining companies, and trading houses.
