Andrew McGinty is a Corporate partner based in the Hogan Lovells Hong Kong office. He covers a wide waterfront of practices, including foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances as well as regulatory in highly regulated sectors like technology, media, and telecommunications; venture capital; real estate; financial institutions; life sciences; and insurance. Originally from the United Kingdom, Andrew has spent over 30 years in China. That gives him a unique historical perspective as to how far China has progressed and, more importantly, where it is likely to be going. Andrew speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, French, and Spanish.
